Grilled Pineapple Sausage Skewers
These skewers come together quickly and you can completely make them ahead. Welcome your summer brunch party guests to the sweet smoky aroma of these grilling away. Have you tried grilled pineapple before? I’m convinced it is the best way to eat pineapple. The grill caramelizes the glaze on the outside and really amplifies the natural sweetness of pineapple. It pairs beautifully with sausage and bell pepper and gives these skewers an almost tropical flavor.

We kept the glaze simple but the flavor is so impressive – these are such a treat.
Ingredients for Pineapple Kielbasa Skewers
This recipe has simple ingredients and requires very little effort, but the flavors are impressive!
Pineapple – watch our video on how to pick a sweet, ripe pineapple Bell Pepper – a red, yellow, or orange bell pepper will work Red onion – we prefer a red onion, but any onion will work Kielbasa – you can use your favorite sausages (we love turkey sausages). You can even use Homemade Sausage – yum! BBQ Sauce – use a sticky sweet, or original BBQ sauce Maple syrup – make sure to use a real maple syrup Hot Sauce – we prefer Tabasco® brand hot sauce

Skewers and glaze can be prepared a day ahead, covered, and refrigerated for easy entertaining! Brush with glaze just before grilling. Storing Leftovers – once cooled to room temperature, cover and store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
