Ingredient Notes

Gin – Use your favorite! Any type will work. This recipe can also be made with vodka or whiskey, but that would technically make it another drink. Lemon Juice – I always prefer freshly squeezed, use what you have though. Simple Syrup – Scroll down to “How To Make Simple Syrup” section to find out how to make your own at home! Egg White – This is what makes the drink, but if you’re wincing at the thought, you can leave it out. Club Soda – Use your favorite to top it all off! We need that FIZZ!

How To Make A Gin Fizz

Mix: Add the gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white (if using) to a shaker and vigorously shake for about 15 seconds. Add 3 or 4 ice cubes and shake until well-chilled. Finish: Strain using a mini strainer into a glass and top with Club soda. Serve: Garnish with lemon wedge/slice or peel and serve.

How To Make Simple Syrup

Simple syrup is made from equal parts of water and sugar. The sugar is boiled in with the water until it becomes a syrup, which can be used for a variety of different cocktails, desserts, etc. Here’s how to make it!
