It’s an easy way to fancy-up a cake. All you need is some leaves and semi-sweet chocolate. I tried doing this with leaves from a rose-bush and the leaves stuck onto the chocolate. I found that using fake plant leaves work even better. Try to leave a bit of stem on the leaf so you can handle it easier as you dip into the chocolate.

How To Make Chocolate Leaf, Leaves:

  1. Melt about 1/2 cup chocolate in a microwaveable bowl (follow package instructions on melting).
  2. Dip one side of the leaves generously into the chocolate.
  3. Place leaf, chocolate side up, on a plate and refrigerate until chocolate hardens.
  4. After chocolate hardens, slowly peel off the leaves (thanks Julia!)
