My kids adore this blackberry limeade. The best part is, you can make this up to 2 weeks ahead for an event or have the mix ready in your fridge to simply add ice and sip when the craving strikes.
How To Pick the Best Limes:
With the obsessive amounts of guacamole and ceviche that we consume, we have learned that there is a big difference in limes and how much juice you can squeeze out of them. Follow these simple tips for picking juicy limes.
Smooth skin – We have found that large limes with a smooth (non-bumpy) skin give the most juice. Bright green – green limes are fresher than yellower ones. Limes turn more yellow as they sit. Smell the lime – a ripe lime will have a stronger lime aroma. Heavy limes indicate juicier limes. They should feel heavy for their size.
