Apple Cinnamon Scones
Fresh apple cinnamon scones, right out of the oven – there’s nothing like it. If you love yourself and your significant other, make these. They will be your breakfast every morning this week, guaranteed. Don’t forget the cup of coffee! There’s nothing more homey than a freshly baked scone. I love the smell of apples and cinnamon baking, whether it’s in a pie or these beautiful scones – it’s pure comfort. Now I don’t know if you’re like me, but baking is my passion. The great thing about baking scones is that you don’t have to be a passionate baker, or even an expert baker! Scones are probably one of the easiest things you could bake. You can literally make the dough and throw it in the oven in under 10 minutes, and I’m being generous here.
Don’t Throw Scones At Glass Houses
Other than the obvious reason of breaking a window, I’m referring to the old saying “Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones” well this applies here. Do not pass judgement! I will eat these scones for breakfast, lunch, dinner, a snack, in the middle of the night with the lights off – there is no stopping me. That’s how good these are. They’re so simple to make, and for some reason every time I talk to someone about baking scones they think it’s such a chore, but it’s not – I’ll prove it!

I said it before and I’ll say it again – I will eat this scones anytime, anywhere. They make the perfect breakfast, paired with a hot cup of joe or they can be served as an afternoon snack with a nice cup of tea. The choice is yours! Speaking of coffee and tea: Who needs over priced scones and lines at the coffee shop? Not me. If you really want to go “all out” and dive into a true coffee house experience, why not try your hand at my London fog recipe.
Leftovers
Store your scones in an airtight container, bread box, or freezer bag to keep them from drying out! They will last 1-2 days at room temperature or up to 7 days stored in the fridge.
Tip:
You can microwave your scones for 5-10 second intervals to mimic the “fresh out of the oven” feel!
Freezing
If you want to enjoy these delectable treats in the future, you can also freeze them! Once the scones have completely cooled down to room temperature, wrap them individually with both plastic wrap and foil. They will last 2-3 months frozen and will thaw after about 1 hour at room temperature. Another option is to microwave them for 10 seconds at a time until thawed.
